Color Pop: Adding a (Colorful) Ray of Sunshine to Our Living Room
Soooo…nosotros're finally getting settled into our new place and while at that place'due south definitely still a lot to do, we've been crossing things off the list slowly but surely. Starting with the living room.
It's the first room nosotros decided to tackle, since we spend a good corporeality of time there. And while I'm not quite ready to share the full enchilada, I did team up with PinkLion, an online boutique showcasing independent brands from artists and artisans across the globe, to share what Jeff and I have pulled together thus far…
I should probably tell you lot that we've tried several different seating arrangements already (verdict is still out on where the couch will end up). Just since the holidays are right around the corner, nosotros've been getting things into shape for when family unit and friends popular over.
We kept our furniture, for the virtually office, from the move. Which ways the big stuff was pretty much taken intendance of.
Simply I've been trying to incorporate more color in accessories, which is where PinkLion comes in…abstract paintings from T30 Gallery and some polygon pieces (basin and mug) from Studio Lorier have helped in that section. And and so there are all those trivial air plant pods from Lemon Cucullu. Now that is a popular of colour my friends. Aren't they fun? Each one of these crochet pods are super soft and fuzzy. They come up in tons of colors too.
And because I haven't (and probably never will) completely transitioned out of my neutral ways, I found this grey loop pillow from Studio 2, to tie in the gray from the rug.
I'thousand not going to lie, it took me a good 30 minutes to go used to all of the color. BUT the cheerfulness totally won me over. Which is exactly what I hope our friends and family unit volition be saying when they come over to check out our new place.

So that's what we've been working on so far. Like I said, there's even so a lot to do, but it feels skillful to take the ball rolling already. Ya know?
What nigh you? Are in that location any interiors projects that yous've been trying to tackle lately?
